Register now for the 2023 spring semester at SDCCD

Open enrollment has begun for the spring semester at the San Diego Community College District. Students can enroll now in more than 400 affordable academic programs at San Diego City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges, and San Diego College of Continuing Education.

From achieving a degree to transferring to a university or earning a career technical certificate, students can reach their individual goals at only $46 per credit unit at City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges, and through free noncredit classes at College of Continuing Education. On campus and online classes are available.

Many of SDCCD’s career education programs can be completed in a year and lead to good paying jobs. Some of the hottest fields include cybersecurity, which has a median salary of $103,590, accounting which pays $79,257, interior design at $60,846, and welding where students can expect to earn a median salary of $49,525.

“Since 98% of SDCCD graduates remain in the region after graduation, these programs are benefiting both the students and the local economy,” said SDCCD Chancellor Carlos O. Cortez. “We stand ready to work with each student to provide them with the skills and assistance for finding a good-paying job.”

For students with financial need, SDCCD offers financial aid, emergency funding, and support services. SDCCD colleges also provide students with access to basic needs such as fresh produce and food pantries, transportation, and on campus health centers.

Spring 2023 classes at City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges begin January 30. Classes at College of Continuing Education begin February 1.

Registration will continue through the spring with full-semester and short-term classes available. Visit the online class schedule as new class sections are added weekly to accommodate student demand.
