San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer recently announced several recommendations from a task force formed to close the skills gap, improve access to affordable education, and connect residents to opportunities in the city’s growing innovation economy and broader job market. San Diego Community College District Chancellor Constance Carroll co-chaired the OpportunityWORKS task force and participated a news conference held at Qualcomm’s Thinkabit Lab.
