Project Progress Update
Damaged property line fencing between Harry West Gym and SR-163 presents security and liability issues and requires landscape rehabilitation and a new greenhouse structure.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Construction Kickoff: October, 30 2025
- Fence Fabrication: November 11, 2025
- Installation of fabricated fence: December 12, 2025
- Greenhouse structure installed and approved: December 17, 2025
- Remaining netting & slope: December 19, 2025
Project Description
The property line fencing between Harry West Gym and SR-163 is damaged and parts non-existent causing security and liability issues required to be addressed through landscape cleanup and greenhouse demo. The damaged fence that separates the freeway and secures the gym allows pedestrians to enter the property, camp over night, causing an unsafe environment for students and staff.
The project includes:
- Installation of New 10-foot-high Fabricated Fence
- New Green House Structure
- Slope Stabilization & Landscape Cleanup
- Improved Campus Safety
