Project Progress Update
The AE team continued the project design and held weekly design and coordination meetings. 100% Design Development drawings were submitted on 2/6 and review comments were incorporated.
Upcoming Milestones:
- 4/3: 50% Construction Documents submittal
- June 2026: Design Completion & DSA Submittal
- March 2027: Construction
Project Features
The San Diego City College Harry West Gym HVAC Project includes the installation of a new HVAC system to serve the currently unconditioned gymnasium. Other project features include:
- Evaluation of the existing mechanical equipment to determine replacement needs
- New roofing
- New fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems
- Structural and accessibility upgrades to ensure compliance with current code requirements
