- Schematic Design (SD) workshops held on 3/6 & 3/20.

Project Features
The San Diego City College Saville Theatre Replacement project includes the abatement and demolition and removal of the existing Saville Theatre, as well as the removal and replacement of associated site utilities and appurtenances in alignment with the campus’s Master Plan. New construction of approximately 20,000 assignable square feet (ASF) includes:
- Street-level lobby with Box Office, restrooms and manager’s office
- Coordination with Building C façade
- Main theatre with 250-350 seats
- Stage, orchestra pit, control room and support spaces
- Scene shop, costume shop
- Rehearsal rooms, Recording/Editing and Dance Studios
- Future connection to Outdoor Amphitheatre
- Sustainable landscaping and irrigation
- New walkways and accessible path of travel to compliant parking areas
- Exterior and interior signage
