Project Progress Update
This project is the replacement of four overhead coil doors at the parking structures of San Diego City College’s MaSS and VCT Buildings.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Bid Award Board Approval: August 28, 2025
- Pre-construction kickoff: October 23, 2025
- Construction kickoff: December 22, 2025
- Project closeout: In-service training was held on January 15, 2026, and the architect punch walk was scheduled on January 16, 2026.
Project Description
- Replacement of four overhead coil doors at the parking structures serving San Diego City College’s MaSS and VCT Buildings
- Replacement of the motor in the existing ½ HP Lift Master sliding gate controller
- Replacement of the sliding gate chain
- Adjustment and lubrication of the gate controller and CLF gate to ensure proper operation and long-term functionality
