Current Status/Phase: Design-Build Enterprise Team approved by the Board of Directors. Currently in Programming.
Project Progress Update
The District finalized the purchase of 5322 El Cajon Blvd, successfully securing the new project site. Four stakeholder focus group sessions were conducted on June 23 to gather input and inform project planning.

Project Features
The Mid City Expansion project involves acquiring a site and developing a new 34,000 SF property for the San Diego College of Continuing Education. In alignment with the campus’s long-term Master Plan, this project will provide expand the following student programs:
- ESL
- Citizenship
- Nursing
- Culinary Arts
In addition, the project addresses parking challenges by exploring options to increase available stalls to better serve students, staff, and the surrounding community.
