Project Progress Update
Programming has been completed. In collaboration with District and College stakeholders, PBK established the project vision, developed space programming, prepared conceptual diagram layouts, and provide preliminary cost estimates. Four renovation effort options were provided by PBK for District and College approval as the basis of design on the project. Final decisions pending about scope of renovation project.
Upcoming Milestones: Phase 2 of Budget program
Project Features
The San Diego College of Continuing Education Mid City Renovation project includes targeted upgrades to the building. In alignment with the campus’s long-term Master Plan, the improvements will contribute to a more welcoming and efficient learning environment. The project will focus on:
- Enhanced classroom spaces
- Re-envisioning student services for improved access
- Site Security
As the project vision, space development, and programming continue, the scope of the renovation will be refined.
