Project Progress Update

Removal and replacement of the existing gymnasium floor and subfloor in Building M-100.

Upcoming Milestones:

• A Notice to Proceed (NTP) for the Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACM) Survey and Inspection has been issued to Ninyo & Moore: September 17, 2025.
• Proposed Summer project pending campus confirmation: October 26, 2025.
• Board meeting approval for KYA Group contract: October 30, 2025.
• Project is currently on hold: January 16, 2025.
• Revising proposal to focus on repairs due January 29, 2026. Work is expected to take approximately 6 to 7 weeks.
• Submittals are currently in progress. Construction to begin on Monday, June 1, 2026.
• Pre-construction meeting is scheduled for May 22, 2026.
• The primary scope of work has been completed. The contractor is currently performing change order work June 26, 2026.

Project Features

• Removal and replacement of the existing gymnasium floor and subfloor in Building M-100
• Sanding of the existing wood floor
• Repair or replacement of any poor or damaged floor sections
• Repainting and restriping of game lines, including:
  • NCAA men’s and women’s basketball lines on the main court
  • Volleyball lines for one main court and two practice courts
  • Lines for six badminton courts
• Installation of a new school logo at center court, measuring 6 feet by 8 feet
• Gymnasium dimensions: 118 feet by 105 feet
• Total of two school logos within the gymnasium
