Project Progress Update
Repair existing overhead garage doors at the building G3 and G4.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Campus agreed the best option is to retain the existing garage doors. As a result, wireless controls will not be necessary as of December 12, 2025
- 2/24 OBR to address 60% Schematic Design Comments from District in preparation of 90% Construction Documents.
- Bidding is scheduled for March to May 2026 with construction expected for May to October 2026
- Design and Construction Documents page flip completed March 19, 2026.
- 90% drawing set anticpated to be received early May 2026. The delay is due to new stainless steel requirement.
- 90% Construction Documents are under review, with the inclusion of the stainless steel grille specifications.
- Bid advertisement is tentatively scheduled for June 2026.
- Pre-bid job walk conference scheduled on June 26, 2026
Project Features
- Camera installation for monitoring
- Keypad access inside and outside to support emergency access
- Remote-controlled access (will require a monthly subscription)
