Project Progress Update
Repair existing doors at the Diesel and technology building C3.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Vortex proposal for single one (1) door replacement under review: October 20, 2025.
- Project is on hold pending a clarifying response from the Campus: November 18, 2025.
- Site verification of the existing equipment was performed by Vortex: January 26, 2026.
- Part II of the contract will be awarded to Sechen Construction awaiting insurance and bond documentation: June, 2026.
Project Description
- Install new motor and assembly components on doors.
- Integrate new components with the current door mechanisms.
- Ensure overhead doors remain in their existing locations and elevations.
- Maintain proper alignment and safe operation with the existing overhead structure.
