Pride and Protest: A Celebration of LGBTQ+ Love and Activism

The San Diego Mesa College Gallery will host the student-curated exhibition Pride and Protest: A Celebration of LGBTQ+ Love and Activism from October 31 through November 17, 2022.

A drawing of activists holding signs supporting trans rights and the lgbtq community Through various styles and diverse perspectives, Pride and Protest brings 25 artists together to represent and stand in unity with the LGBTQ+ community. 

A gallery reception will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2 and will include entertainment by San Diego Mesa College Music Students under the direction of N. Scott Robinson.

The exhibition is a love letter celebrating the beauty and creativity that blossoms with self-discovery and acceptance. The works examine and express the individual and collective experiences of the LGBTQ+ community and allies of the community.
