Current Status/Phase: Construction Phase

Project Progress Update

Over the next three weeks, the contractor will continue flooring, cubby, and data cabling installation, followed by completion of remaining finish work, data cabling testing, and final touch-up painting by August 7. The Owner Punch Walk is scheduled for August 11, followed by completion of punch list corrections, owner turnover activities, and closeout documentation through August 19.

Upcoming Milestones:

• July 30 – August 5: Flooring installation, complete cubby delivery and installation, and data cabling installation. Continue identifying punch list items as areas reach substantial completion.
• August 6 – August 12: Complete remaining finish work, data cabling installation and testing, and final touch-up painting and finish corrections by August 7. Conduct the Owner Punch Walk on August 11, 2026, followed by completion of any remaining punch list items.
• August 13 – August 19: Complete all punch list corrections, owner turnover activities, and closeout documentation to achieve final project completion.

Remodel the existing second-floor Police Academy classrooms and offices at Miramar College Building A-200.

Install new interior finishes, including:

• Flooring
• Ceilings
• Cubbies
• Paint
• Window coverings
