Project Progress Update
The project is in the Schematic Design phase. The design team is transitioning from programming and conceptual design to preliminary drawings, site, and floor plans.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Schematic Design—July 2026
- Design Development—March 2027
- Construction Documents—October 2028
Project Description
- Replacement of outdated athletic, exercise science, and dance facilities with approximately 115,000 ASF of new construction and modernized infrastructure
- New four-court gym, athletic training areas, study spaces, locker and team rooms, equipment storage, and administrative offices
- Expanded Aquatics Center supporting lifeguard and water safety training, replacing a 50-year-old pool
- New Throw Park/practice field, and improved pedestrian connections across campus
- Renovation of stadium seating and press box
- Track and Field resurfacing
- Relocated restroom & concessions building
- New site utilities, landscaping, accessible pathways and parking, curb and gutter improvements, and signage
- Alignment with the college’s Master Plan to improve equity, connectivity, and community access
