Africa Trade and Business Conference - Mesa College

As partners with Water for Children Africa (WCA), the Black Studies Department and Black Student Union are co-sponsoring the 19th Annual African Trade and Business Conference from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at San Diego Mesa College.

This year's conference theme is: Opening Doors to Opportunities in Africa

This free event is designed to bring global awareness and understanding that Maji Ni Maisha (Water is Life) and all people are entitled to it through clean water.  

Keynote speaker Mary E. Flowers, CEO of Global Green Development Group, will share her Knowledge of nearly 20 years of doing business on the continent and will highlight growth and development opportunities. The conference will highlight innovative and affordable technology that can pull water from the air. 

This event supports our efforts to educate and engage all students and the community-at-large in real-world problem solving associated with collaboration with international arenas, conscious active leadership and applied learning to achieves sustainable equity.  

The conference will be held in Room G-101.
