California Community Colleges Board of Governors to name new chancellor on July 18

The California Community Colleges Board of Governors President Geoffrey L. Baum will introduce the chancellor of the nation’s largest system of higher education at the beginning of the board’s regularly scheduled public meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 18 in Sacramento.
Former California Community Colleges Chancellor Brice W. Harris retired in April 2016 after more than three years as the system’s chancellor. The California Community Colleges Board of Governors immediately launched a nationwide search to find his replacement.
