Cesar Chavez Car Park Dedication

San Diego Continuing Education invites students, faculty and staff to its dedication of the César Chávez campus car park at noon, Wednesday, March 23.
San Diego City Councilman David Alvarez will serve as the Master of Ceremony. Speakers
include:
- Carlos O. Turner Cortez, Ph.D., President, San Diego Continuing Education
- Maria Nieto Senour, Ph.D., President, SDCCD Board of Trustees
- Constance M. Carroll, Ph.D., Chancellor. SDCCD
- Rachael Ortiz, Executive Director, Barrio Station
- Ken Seaton-Msemaji, Co-founder, United Domestic Workers, Cesar Chavez' Other Dream
- John Armington, Son of United Farm Workers (UFW) Filipino Leader Bob Armington
- Carlos LeGerrette, Executive Director, Cesar Chavez Service Clubs
- Barbara Ybarra, Cesar Chavez’ Granddaughter
Entertainment will be provided by Ramon “Chunky” Sanchez, Jose Villarino and the Rondalla Amerindia.
The parking garage, just down the street from the new César E. Chávez campus in Barrio Logan, is at the corner of César Chávez Parkway and National Avenue.
