Now online: Drug, Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program

October 19, 2015 | San Diego Community College District

San Diego City, Mesa and Miramar Colleges and Continuing Education are committed to providing a drug-free workplace and campus environment for students and employees.

The institutions also prohibit the use of tobacco products and electronic delivery devices on campus or at college/district-sponsored events.

As part of the district’s comprehensive efforts, District Student Services launched a new online resource “Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program” (DAAPP) that includes the following elements: Standards of Conduct, Legal Sanctions, Health Risks, Drug and Alcohol Programs (campus and community based), district policies, alcohol and drugs, risks of use, prevention programs, and campus and community based resources available to students. For more information, visit the new DAAPP page at sdccd.edu/daapp.
