Schedule of Classes

This year’s menu of four-week intersession courses range from Business Law & the Legal Environment to Conversational Spanish and Contemporary Social Problems. Students needing to complete their math requirements have numerous options to choose from, including a Pre-Algebra Refresher course, Trigonometry, and Introduction to Linear Algebra. The four-week courses are offered from Jan. 2-Jan.27.

A limited number of six week courses ranging from World History to 3D Animation will be offered from Jan. 2-Feb.10

The SDCCD reintroduced intersession this past winter for the first time since 2009 thanks to an improved state budget and careful financial management. It is part of an expanding array of SDCCD programs and services making it easier for students to reach their educational goals throughout the year. For example, 12 percent of the 6,764 course sections at City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges and Continuing Education during the full spring term are being offered online, providing additional flexibility for busy students including working adults and those raising a family. The district is also planning to expand evening offerings to help student achieve their goals.

Because 16 weeks of instruction are being packed into just four or six weeks, most classes will meet daily. A schedule of intersession classes can be found at http://schedule.sdccd.edu/

In-state tuition fees are $46 per unit.
