Miramar College hosting clothing giveaway

October 9, 2018 | San Diego Community College District

San Diego Miramar College will hold the 7th annual Used Clothing Giveaway event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Services Building on Nov. 7 and 8.

The college will be accepting donations starting October 10 until the last day of the event. We are looking for clean and gently used men’s and women’s attire, business professional attire, children's clothing, Halloween costumes, and accessories. Donations of new socks, underwear, and bras are also needed. All sizes welcome!

This is a free event to reduce your closet footprint, revive your fashion, to help yourself and those in need. It will be open to ALL faculty, staff, and students. You do not need to donate in order to take free clothes.

If you’re interested in volunteering, need assistance, or have any questions, please contact Yolanda Giang at ygiang@sdccd.edu or Laura Pecenco at lpecenco@sdccd.edu or call 619-388-7617.

Donations can be dropped off at:

- The Audiovisual Department, L-111, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
