Student Success Day at City College

San Diego City College will host Student Success Day from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, June 27 and 28. The Counseling, Admissions, Outreach, and Instructional departments, in collaboration with student support programs, created the event for first-time college students who have no prior college experience.
Student Success Day is structured to ensure students and parents receive the information needed to choose the right classes to start their college career. A Resource Fair provides the opportunity for students to learn about the numerous student support programs available, and the Educational Planning Sessions allow to students to meet with their counselor to develop a two-semester educational plan. Students can also ask questions regarding classes for their major, what to do if they are undecided about their career, how to register, financial aid, and other concerns.
