City College Commencement 2019

San Diego City College will hold its 2019 Commencement ceremony at 5 p.m. Friday, May 24 at San Diego Convention Center, Ballroom 6A, 111 W. Harbor Drive, San Diego.
A graduation rehearsal will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 at Harry West Gymnasium, San Diego City College on Park Boulevard. Students are asked to wear tennis shoes or rubber flip-flops for the rehearsal in the gym.
Caps and gowns are available for purchase in the City College Bookstore. City College's caps and gowns are black. Exceptions - Nursing graduates will wear white caps and gowns, and Cosmetology and Esthetician graduating students will wear red caps and gowns.
Graduates with disabilities who need disability related accommodations for the ceremony should complete this online Accommodation Request for Graduates Form by May 10, 2019 for mobility assistance, an American Sign Language interpreter, or other accommodations. You may also contact the DSPS office for additional information.
For guests requiring disability accommodations, there will be a section with reserved accessible seating located at the front (southeast side) of the pavilion. The seating is available on a first come first serve basis so it is advised that any guests needing accessible seating arrive early. Access will be given to the guest with a disability plus two additional guests. Once the section is full it will be closed.
