Deadline to apply for Spring 2021 graduation

The deadline to file a Petition for Graduation and be a spring 2021 graduate is Friday, April 30. Students filing after this date will be summer 2021 graduates.
Graduation is not automatic upon completion of requirements. Students who expect to receive an Associate Degree or Certificate of Achievement are encouraged to submit a Petition for Graduation at least one year in advance of anticipated graduation.
The application for graduation is an online form, which is completed through your mySDCCD portal. Need help? Counselors are available to help you understand the application process. Contact your campus Counseling Department for assistance.
Associates Degree
Students are encouraged to apply for graduation for an Associate Degree up to a year
prior to expected graduation date.
Certificate of Achievement
Students working toward a Certificate of Achievement should apply for graduation prior
to the beginning of the semester in which they plan to complete the requirements of
their certificate program.
