The San Diego Community College District's Online Learning Pathways will be offering a series of virtual guest presentations and live synchronous webinars for an Open Education Resources (OER) and Professional Development Week on March 1-5, 2021.
This past year has proven the resiliency instructors as we faced unprecedented challenges and highlighted the necessity a of comprehensive professional development program. Throughout the week we hope to provide opportunities for professional growth, the development of OER, and ways to interact with collegues.
SDCCD's OER Week will be kicking off at 2 p.m. on March 1 with Guest Speaker Suzanne Wakim as she introduces how universal design for learning can help us build more engaging and accessible online courses in her presentation titled, "OER your classes personalized? How Open Educational Practices support Universal Design"
All SDCCD staff, faculty, and administration are invited to participate. Each event requires registration in advance. See the schedule.
