College of Continuing Education holds Exploration Day

San Diego College of Continuing Education (SDCCE) will host Exploration Days, a public open house series for prospective students and families this month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Educational Cultural Complex, 4343 Ocean View Blvd. Events are free, all-ages, and include live entertainment and food.

SDCCE provides free workforce training for adult learners at seven campuses across the county in priority sectors such as welding, automotive, child development, information technology, culinary arts, business, healthcare, digital media, clothing and textiles. Additional free classes include high school diploma/equivalency, citizenship, and English as a second language. 

SDCCE Summer Exploration Days Registration

Attendees will experience SDCCE through campus tours of learning labs and makerspaces, interactive demonstrations, and a meet-and-greet with faculty and staff. Prospective students can complete an online application and sign-up for orientations during Exploration Days for the fall 2022 semester. Fall classes begin September 5.

Pre-registration for Exploration Days is encouraged but not required. Advance sign ups receive an additional opportunity drawing ticket.

*As part of the Exploration Day Event at the Educational Cultural Complex, SDCCE's ceramics classes will be offering ceramics made by the students of the Emeritus classes. Funds will support the purchasing of supplies, tools, and equipment used in ceramics classes.
