San Diego Mesa College will hold its 2022 Commencement Ceremony at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 27 on Mesa campus at Merrill Douglas Stadium.

The deadline to apply for graduation is April 30, 2022 (this is also the deadline for Summer 2020 graduates wishing to participate in the ceremony). Students can apply for graduation through their student portal, MySDCCD.

Invitations

An email and mailed invitation will be sent to all eligible students (those who have applied for graduation from Mesa College in Summer 2021, Fall 2021, Spring 2022, and Summer 2022).

• The Commencement Registration link will be included in the email and invitation.
• If you did not receive an email invitation, please contact the Mesa College Evaluations Office.

Attend Grad Fest and Pick-up Guest Tickets

Grad Fest and Ticket Distribution will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 4 and 5 in front of the Mesa Commons and Campus Store.

• Students are required to pick up their four free guest tickets during the Grad Fest/Ticket Distribution dates. If a student does not claim their tickets by 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, students are not guaranteed tickets.
• Graduates who do not want or need all four tickets and return tickets by 10 a.m. on May 10 in person to the Evaluations office at I4-306 (3rd floor of the Student Services building) will be entered into an opportunity drawing to receive a $25 Amazon gift card.

Students are encouraged to check their email and regularly revisit this webpage for updates on details surrounding Commencement Day.

Diplomas are mailed to the address on the student’s official record 8 weeks after the end of the graduation semester.
