Science and Fashion - Mesa College teams up with Salk Institute

San Diego Mesa College's Fashion Program collaborated with the Salk Institute to create garments inspired by science. Salk scientists were paired with thirteen fashion students to create designs to be presented in a fashion showcase benefiting women in science. San Diego based Salk Institute is world renowned in research of neuroscience and plant biology.
