Special FX students learn the art of moulage
The Special FX Makeup department at San Diego City College teamed up with the Medical Simulation Center from UCSD Medical School for a workshop to teach medical professionals how to create their own mock injuries for the purpose of training. Moulage is the art of creating cosmetic injuries for added realism to the training of first responders and others who have to treat wounds.
