Vernal Pools at Miramar College

The recent rains have brought the vernal pools at Miramar College to life just in time for spring. Vernal pools are a temporary habitat that occurs during the rainy season. The organisms and ecosystem of the vernal pools can remain dormant outside of that rainy season, then hatch when the conditions are right.
