Community Online ZTC Project

What is the project?

SDCCD has received a Community Project grant. The grant will provide funding and support for SDCCD faculty to create and improve instructional materials with Open Educational Resources (OER), resulting in online Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) courses. Support for the project is provided with funding for faculty, instructional designers, contractors, and an OER specialist.

Who should apply?

Faculty at City, Mesa, Miramar, and Continuing Education who are interested in receiving support and funding to help convert their courses into online zero textbook cost courses.

What do I need to apply?

  1. Review the Online ZTC project application details
  2. Consider your project goals and deliverable, as well as your timeframe and anticipated workload.
  3. Support from Department Chair and Dean

Discuss your ideas with anyone who may be impacted or benefit from your project or idea.

Hint: Your application will be more competitive if you are collaborating with other colleagues.
