“SAY San Diego approached us needing assistance in developing and delivering a training workshop to 20 employees who use social media as a medium to communicate program services to stakeholders in the local community,” said David Wilhelm, professor of Business at San Diego Miramar College. “Our students will design, develop and deliver a training program focused on effective strategies for the proper use of social media within the SAY organization. It is a win-win for both our students and SAY San Diego.”
“We are grateful for the partnership that we have established with the Business department at San Diego Miramar College,” said Suzie Colby, vice president of resource development for SAY San Diego. “To continue to be a successful nonprofit you often need to find creative solutions to accomplish your goals, and the business students at Miramar College will provide a wonderful resource for our employees and the community.”
In 2015, SAY San Diego engaged 75,500 San Diegans, serving more than 19,000 children and family members directly and reaching an additional 56,500 with informational, educational, and health promotion resources.
