Mesa College’s farmers market is a monthly event, made possible through a partnership with Feeding San Diego, and offers students and members of the Mesa College community access to free fresh produce. The Farmers Market is generally held on the third Thursday of the month on campus in the Sunrise Plaza, near Mesa Commons. The initiative is part of Mesa College’s efforts toward “Taking a Stand Against Hunger.”
The Stand will also be accepting donations of nonperishable food items, gently-used professional or business casual clothing, or unopened hygiene products. Monetary donations can be made online via PayPal or Amazon Wish List on The Stand homepage. Checks can be made out to and sent to The San Diego Mesa College Foundation at 7250 Mesa College Drive, Room A-111 (please include “The Stand” in the memo).
