Lowriders: Demystifying the Stereotypes - Lecture and Car Show

As part of San Diego City College’s Chicanx/Latinx Heritage Month programming, the World Cultures Program presents a thought-provoking lecture and car show from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

Marcos "Mr. Rabbit" Arellano, president of the Impalas Lowrider Club, will share the history of lowriders and demystifies stereotypes surrounding the lowrider community. The lecture will be held in Room MS 140 followed by a mini car show in Parking Lot 5. The event is free for all to attend.
