Sorg uses tape and dichroic film to create playful street art, beautiful collages and bold installation pieces full of positivity and color. Her “Portals of Hope” street art project seeks to inject creativity, hope and rainbows of color into our urban landscape.
A reception will be held from 4-7 p.m. in tandem with the Mesa Gallery's own reception for the exhibit Connecting the Dots, which features artwork by faculty and classified professionals from across the San Diego Community College District.
The Student Art Gallery can be found directly across from parking Lot #1, on the Second Floor of the Fine Arts building. Go through the metal gates to the left of the main Art Gallery, and up the elevator to level 2. Or go to the gallery in the first floor and they'll direct you.
