LGBTQ Safe Zone Training

Virtual LGBTQ+ Safe Zone training will be available for all San Diego Community College District employees from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. 

The LGBTQ+ Safe Zone virtual training is for all employees who would like to:

  • understand the issues facing LGBTQ+ individuals
  • understand the importance of using inclusive language, including pronouns
  • learn tools to increase LGBTQ+ inclusivity on campus and in the workplace
  • build a stronger and more sensitive work environment

The event will be hosted by Laura González and Anna Liza Manzo from Miramar College.
