The latest branding campaign, designed in partnership with Selbert Perkins Design, can be seen on buses, billboards, social media ads, and TV spots

With is bright sunburst logo and inclusive tagline, Be. Belong. Become, the rebrand projects an energy and optimism for the future, while letting people know they are welcome here just as they are.

“The rebrand is an opportunity for the District and Colleges to highlight the strong connection we have with San Diego,” said Jack Beresford, SDCCD Director of Communications and Public Relations. “Our brand marketing campaign includes images of our students but also of iconic San Diego locations to celebrate the interrelationship between our institutions and the region we serve.”

The campaign also reinforces the SDCCD’s updated mission statement that re-affirms the District’s commitment to making higher education affordable and accessible to everyone while providing a positive working community among its employees.

We create spaces where each individual can show up authentically, celebrate their cultural and individual identities, and achieve their educational goals.”

The new branding can be found now through the spring semester on San Diego roadways, on the KPBS morning surf report, TV ads on CBS 8 and NBC San Diego, as well as video ads on TikTok and YouTube. LED/LCD advertisements will welcome travelers making their way through the San Diego International Airport.

“Our District and Colleges have a wonderful story to share, and people are really excited to see that story being told more effectively through our new logos, tagline, website, and brand marketing,” said Beresford.
