More info on the City College Commencement
Student rehearsal
Student rehearsal for commencement is Monday, May 13, 2024 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the A Building Patio. Students should attend to hear key information in preparation for the commencement ceremony.
To Order Cap & Gown Regalia
- The City College bookstore has made a preliminary order to ensure they are able to supply caps and gowns to the student for Commencement 2024.
- Students can purchase regalia via the San Diego City Bookstore website or in person starting mid-April 2024.
Decorate Your Grad Cap
Join us on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the A-Terrace to decorate your cap. Art supplies will be provided. However, if you have something special, feel free to bring it along!
Have You Checked Your Graduation Status?
You may view your graduation status by logging into mySDCCD and going to the My Academics section, located on the left-hand side of your student portal.
Graduation Deadlines
Graduation is not automatic upon completion of requirements.
- Feb 15, 2024 - Deadline to apply for Graduation for students completing an Associate Degree for Transfer and transferring to a CSU in Fall 2024
- March 15, 2024 - Deadline to apply for Graduation and ensure that your name appears in the official commencement program.
- April 30, 2024 - Deadline to apply for Graduation for students completing an associate degree in Spring 2024.
