Intersession will begin on January 6 at City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges, while the spring semester starts February 3. Free career training programs and classes will begin at the College of Continuing Education on January 29.
The SDCCD offers more than 4,000 courses in programs ranging from business to robotic welding. Students have flexibility in choosing online, in-person, and hybrid classes, along with eight-week courses that offer a quick way to earn college credit. With a recent surge in enrollment at the SDCCD, students are encouraged to enroll early for desired course schedules.
All of the district’s colleges provide a variety of wrap-around student support services, including educational and career planning, academic counseling, health services, and basic needs resources to ensure student success and well-being.
At $46 per unit, California community colleges offer the most affordable way to achieve a college degree in the nation; financial aid and scholarships opportunities are also available to help pay for tuition, enrollment fees, and materials for qualified students.
The SDCCD is currently accepting applications for its free tuition program, the San Diego Promise, for Spring 2025, which covers tuition and fees for eligible students at City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges for the first two years.
