Voters who wish to vote in the November 5 General Election can register online or by mail through October 21, 2024. Voters can register in person at their local election office October 22 through Election Day, November 5.

Under the California Voter’s Choice Act, every active registered voter in San Diego
County will receive a ballot in the mail.
Monday, October 7
Early voting is available at the Registrar’s office, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.
to 5 p.m.
October 8
Voters can drop off their ballot at any official ballot drop box located around San
Diego County.
October 21
Last day to register to vote for the general election by mail or online. To check
your voter registration status visit MyVoterStatus
October 22 - November 5
Same Day Registration available. Voters can conditionally register and vote a provisional ballot during
this time.
October 26
Select Vote Centers open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Election Day.
November 2
Over 200 Voting Centers open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Election Day.
November 5
Election Day - Polls will be open throughout the state from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
