Andari’s career includes time at NASA, with Silicon Valley manufacturing companies, and in education. He has deployed more than $200 million in enterprise applications while managing global teams and overseeing operations throughout the world.

“Antoine has a deep and varied knowledge of technology and information systems,” said Jared Burns, vice chancellor of People, Culture, and Technology Services for the SDCCD. “Under his leadership, our district will continue to remain on the cutting edge of the latest technology.”

Andari began his career as a software engineer at NASA, where he worked on a design team for the Space Shuttle Main Engine program. He then moved to Silicon Valley, where he spent two decades working for high-tech companies where he led numerous initiatives ranging from financials to supply chain management systems.

During his career, Andari has run multi-million-dollar projects in the private and public sectors, including major Oracle implementations and the early development of enterprise data warehouse systems for Fortune 500 companies.

Before coming to San Diego, Andari worked for three years at Monterey Peninsula College, where he guided the enterprise applications group and provided technology support for the college and its campuses across Monterey County.

Andari joined the SDCCD in 2021 as district director of enterprise applications. In that role, he led a team consisting of four information technology departments and 32 employees. His leadership was integral in the migration of PeopleSoft enterprise resource systems to the cloud, the upgrade of PeopleTools, and the implementation of a single sign-on project. He also guided his team in planning and evaluating the Oracle Fusion initiative, a major digital transformation for the district.

“I am honored to serve as Associate Vice Chancellor of Information Technology Services supporting the San Diego Community College District students, faculty, and administrators,” said Andari. “As one of California’s largest districts, my priorities are to advance educational excellence and drive innovation through technology, and I am committed to promoting equity and expanding student access to vital resources. I look forward to leading the ongoing technology transformation alongside our dedicated IT team and executive leaders.”
