All students can purchase semester parking permits through their mySDCCD portal starting in mid-May. Purchases can be made online with a credit card or ordered online and paid with cash at a College Police office at City, Mesa, Miramar colleges, or at Student Services at the Educational Cultural Complex. For College of Continuing Education campuses without a College Police station, students can purchase permits with cash using the permit machine on campus and then bring the receipt to the Student Services office to complete the transaction.
Permit pricing is $29 for summer, $40 each for fall and spring, and $25 for students who qualify for financial aid. Motorcycle semester permits are also available for $17.50.
Employees across the district switched to virtual parking permits in January. The response has been positive. For the 90,000 students the SDCCD colleges serve annually, the new virtual permitting system will eliminate the need to wait in long lines to pick up a physical permit.
A new parking permit is required for each term — summer, fall, and spring — and is required to park at all SDCCD campuses and district offices. Permits are enforced Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m.
