Work-Based Learning Summit set for October 31

The SDCCD's first-ever Work-Based Learning Summit will be held at Miramar College from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025.

The summit will offer discussions including an employer panel, a student panel, and breakout sessions showcasing instructional faculty's efforts to integrate employers and hands-on work experience into their courses. The event is open to all SDCCD faculty, staff, and administrators as well as employer and community partners.

Keynote

Chancellor Gregory Smith will provide a keynote speech on how the SDCCD measures students' success by the amount of students who attain living-wage jobs.
