Inaugural 'Scholarships Fore Veterans' fundraiser
The inaugural “Scholarships Fore Veterans” event was organized by student veterans at San Diego City College and supported by veteran centers throughout the San Diego Community College District. The goal is to raise money for student veterans to help with tuition and other financial obligations that come with being a student. The event is designed to get veterans into a supportive community and to get involved, experience in golf is not required, just a willingness to meet new people.
