Why Disability Employment Matters
Quality employment provides a path to independence, purpose, and connection. For people with disabilities, meaningful work breaks down barriers, challenges stereotypes, and showcases skills that often go unnoticed. Inclusive hiring practices do more than comply with anti-discrimination laws—they bring financial advantages like tax incentives, subsidies, and improved employee retention. Businesses that embrace and recruit from this large and diverse demographic gain fresh ideas, varied perspectives, and unique skills, building stronger teams that can better serve their communities and customers.
