Scheduled Updates (revised 11/4/2024)
The People Tools 8.61 upgrade for SDCCD brings many improvements designed to enhance the overall user experience, streamline navigation, and increase productivity. The refined User Interface allows users to navigate the system more quickly and efficiently. The upgraded Homepages and NavBar provide a more intuitive interface, reducing the clicks required to access essential information and perform daily tasks, including the ability to access recent searches and save your common searches. These navigation enhancements make it easier for users to find what they need quickly, improving overall efficiency across departments. The upgrade is scheduled for the weekend of November 23rd, 2024.
In addition to the visual and navigation changes, other features will be coming soon after the upgrade, adding new and improved functionality. New features like event-driven notifications and real-time approvals enable quicker responses and smoother processes. The upgrade also introduces powerful search functionality through OpenSearch, allowing users to retrieve information more accurately and analytics dashboards to give you more insight into your processes and data. This improved search capability, combined with enhanced workflows and analytics, ensures that SDCCD users can perform their tasks more effectively, boosting overall productivity and operational efficiency across the district.
