Registration Directions

Steps to Register:

Complete Online Application (for new SDCCD students). Here is the application link.
Receive registration appointment and instructions by e-mail or mail.
Receive registration appointment and instructions by e-mail or mail.
Register online with mySDCCD.
Make sure you send in your tuition payment so that you don't lose your registration! See Tuition and Fees.
Order textbooks online. Please check the links below

Upon completion of registration, you will receive an email with course login instructions a few days before the course starts. If you don't receive an email please to Support@instructure.com for instructions on how to login on the first day of class.
Type your Username = 10-digit College Student Identification (ID) number
Type your Password = mmddyyyy (birthdate with no hyphens, slashes, or spaces)
For example: 0009010101 (ID number used at registration)
06031980 (password for birthdate June 3, 1980)

Returning online students, use your current password.

After logging in, you will see your Canvas Dashboard page with your courses listed. Click on the name of the course to access it.

Your instructor expects you to login on the first day of instruction and follow the directions in the Syllabus.
If this course is closed, login to mySDCCD to be placed on a waitlist. If the waitlist is also full, you will not be able to add your name to the waitlist.
