Spring semester classes begin January 22, 2026 at the College of Continuing Education and on February 2 for City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges. The SDCCD offers more than 4,000 courses in a wide range of programs. Students can choose to take in-person, online, or hybrid courses, and short-term courses are offered as a quick way to earn college credit. With high enrollment, students are encouraged to register early for their desired course schedules.
All of the district’s colleges provide a variety of wrap-around student support services, including educational and career planning, academic counseling, health services, and basic needs resources to ensure student success and well-being.
Courses are just $46 per unit at SDCCD and other California community colleges, offering the most affordable way to achieve a college education in the nation. Financial aid and scholarships are also available to help pay for tuition, enrollment fees, and materials for qualified students. SDCCD’s free tuition program, the San Diego Promise, is now accepting applications for Spring 2026. The Promise covers up to two years of tuition, health fees, and book grants for eligible students. Students can view the online class schedule to find courses. Prospective students can apply now.
