The Classified Leadership Development Academy (CLDA) offers training for Classified Staff currently working in a lead position or with the interest to move into a lead position or project lead capacity in the future. Curriculum consists of a combination of introductory leadership skills training, computer skills assessment and guided self-study on district specific functions and processes. Additional training is available in the form of elective topic workshops, online tutorial training, peer networking and recommended reading.

A total of five half-day modules will be scheduled within the semester and are facilitated by leadership development professionals. Guided independent self-study modules will be assigned between each scheduled Academy workshop. The self-study modules will be supported by two additional two-hour facilitated workshops which will provide the opportunity for feedback and questions on the assignments. The Academy includes a total of 20 hours of training plus 4 guided self-study modules with feedback.
