High School Students
San Diego City, Mesa and Miramar Colleges offer eligible high school students the opportunity to earn college credit that can be applied towards associate degrees, certificates, and/or transfer requirements to a four-year college/university. When high school students enroll in college classes in addition to their high school studies, this is called concurrent enrollment.

Welcome to the San Diego Community College District College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP). the CCAP program helps high school students to get a jump start on college by earning college and high school credit at no cost. In addition to saving time and money, the CCAP program help prepare students for the rigors of college level studies.
CCAP Classes are:
- Taught at the High School
- Part of the Regular School Day
- Receive High School and College Credit
- Free Tuition and Textbooks
Steps to Enroll:
- Get in touch with your high school counselor to find out if CCAP is offered at your school
- Apply to the college at http://apply.sdccd.edu
- Submit a Supplemental Application/Authorization
- College staff will manually enroll you in the course(s)

Admission Requirements:
High school students requesting concurrent enrollment are subject to the following criteria:
- Students may enroll in fewer than 12 units and have their enrollment fees waived.
- High school students must satisfy course prerequisites and eligibility requirements. Proof required – contact the college Admissions Office for information.
- All prerequisites are enforced. Students must clear all prerequisites prior to registration.
- Enrollment in Physical Education classes will not be permitted.
- The course must be advanced scholastic or technical (college degree applicable). Contact the college Admissions Office for information.
- Students will be given college credit for all courses. Grades will be part of the student's permanent college record.
Steps To Apply/Enroll for Concurrent Enrollment
If you meet the requirements and wish to apply for concurrent enrollment, follow these steps:
- Apply for admission using our Online Application for Admission (CCCApply).
- When you complete the online application, you will be sent your 10-digit Student Identification Number to the email address you provided on your application within 1 business day.
NOTE: Be sure to keep this number in a secure location. It will be required to access your student records, access online services and to conduct all business with the college.
- When you complete the online application, you will be sent your 10-digit Student Identification Number to the email address you provided on your application within 1 business day.
- Once you have your Student ID number (will be sent to the email you provided on your application), submit the online Supplemental Application for High School Students. This must be done each term.
- Complete the form
- Enter the Student ID Number you have been assigned.
- Refer to the College Catalog for course descriptions
- Refer to the upcoming term's Class Schedule to select classes and enter the 5-digit class number on the form.
- You will receive a notification that your high school form was accepted.
- College Staff will enroll you in your requested classes. If the class is full or you do not meet requirements, you will be contacted by the College Admissions staff.
Admission Requirements:

- Students may enroll in one program of study.
- Students must satisfy course prerequisites and eligibility requirements.
- Students must clear all To-Do List items in their mySDCCD student portal.
- Currently, enrollment in some Career Training Education (CTE) programs are limited or not currently available for concurrent enrollment.
- The course must be advanced scholastic or technical.
- Students will be given grades and hours for all courses. Grades and hours will be part of the student's permanent record.

- When you complete the online application, you will be sent your 10-digit Student Identification Number to the email address you provided on your application within 1 business day.

Academic Standing Rules for CCAP or Concurrent Enrolled High School Students
- Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average each semester in all college work.
- Students who receive a W, I, NP or fail any class will be required to meet with their high school counselor prior to registering in further semesters.
- Upon reaching 12 units, students will be subject to the academic standing rules that applies to all college students.
