Costs and Financial Aid
With the lowest tuition fees in the nation at $46 per unit the San Diego Community College District is a great affordable way to get your higher education. The SDCCD provides millions of dollars in aid every year. Financial aid in the form of grants, work-study and low interest loans is available to those who qualify.
Academic Programs
The SDCCD has over 400 programs in which students can earn associate degrees, certificates or credits for transfer. We also offer two bachelor’s degree programs - Cyber Defense and Analysis at City College and Health Information Management at Mesa College. Find what program is right for you.

Let the Career Centers at San Diego City, Mesa and Miramar colleges offer help you plan your career, conduct a personalized career assessment, and prepare you for interviews. Students can even come by just to check out job listings, job fairs, and upcoming workshops.

Handshake – The job search app specifically designed for students. Students can join Handshake to explore career options, find jobs and internships for students, and connect with employers.
Career Fest
Need help finding a job? The San Diego Community College District is hosting Career Fest, a series of exciting workshops aim to prepare you for career opportunities like: resume building, interview practice, filling out job applications, etc.
Career PreparationDisability Support Programs and Services (DSPS) supports the social, educational, and career journeys of students with disabilities. Disability is a vital dimension of diversity and is a natural part of the human condition. Disability Support Programs and Services (DSPS)Counseling offices offer a number of services to assist and facilitate academic, career and personal student growth. Our health centers offer mental health counseling as well. Appointments are available online and in person.
CounselingStudent parking permit may be purchased online at MySDCCD or in person at the Student Accounting Office and then picked up at campus police. Daily parking permits are available for purchase from permit machines located in most student parking lots.

Bus and Trolley Pass
Current students enrolled in 7 or more credit units or the non-credit equivalent of 7 units are eligible to purchase discounted bus and trolley passes, valid for unlimited trips throughout the semester. College passes are valid on regular MTS and NCTD bus, Trolley and SPRINTER services. Not valid on MTS Rapid Express/NCTD COASTER or FLEX.
